Gloria Miguel traveled to Toronto to perform in the premiere of Chocolate Woman Dreams the Milky Way, June 2-19, 2011 at the Helen Gardiner Phelan Playhouse at the University of Toronto.

Spiderwoman’s dance theatre piece Red Mother premiered at La MaMa Experimental Theater Club in New York City, May 27th - June 6th, 2010. Conceived, written and performed by Muriel Miguel and directed by Murielle Borst, Red Mother was presented in association with La MaMa E.T.C. and developed in collaboration with Loose Change Productions.


Lifetime Achievement Award

On February 13, 2010, Spiderwoman Theater was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Women’s Caucus for Art.
